Founding member and President of "Positive Voice”, the association of People Living with HIV

in Greece and founder the vice-chair of “Prometheus", the Hellenic Liver Patient Association.

 

He is a former chair of the European AIDS Treatment Group (EATG) and former co-chair of the Patient and Consumer Working Party of the European Medicines Agency (EMA).

He is member of the European Treatment Guidelines for HIV, of the Steering Committee of the "HIV Outcomes - Beyond Viral Suppression" initiative and of the "EuroTEST - Working together for integrated testing and earlier care”.

Nikos advocates for Universal Access to evidence-based and cost-effective treatment and prevention services as a moral imperative and pre-condition to a prosperous and fair society.
