Dr. Beatriz Grinsztejn is an Infectious Diseases physician-scientist and holds master's

and PhD degrees in Infectious Diseases.

 

She is the Director of the STI & AIDS Clinical Research Laboratory and Clinical Trials Unit

at the Instituto Nacional de Infectologia Evandro Chagas (INI)- Fiocruz, affiliated to the HIV

Prevention Trials Network (HPTN-NIAID-NIH-USA), HIV Vaccines Network

(HVTN-NIAID-NIH-USA), the Advancing Clinical Therapeutics Globally for HIV/AIDS and Other

Infections (ACTG.NIAID-NIH-USA), the COVID-19 Prevention Network (CoVPN-NIAID-NIH-EUA) and the ANRS-Emerging Infectious Diseases-France).

 

She is the current International AIDS Society (IAS) President-elect.
