Professor of Paediatrics at the University of Padova and President of the PENTA Foundation.

He has been coordinator of more that 15 large EU funded projects.

Main research areas include HIV, Vaccinology and Paediatric Infectious Disease in general.

Professor Giaquinto has contributed to more than 300 publications in peer-reviewed journals and has been an invited speaker at 250 + conferences and international workshops. He is a member of the Program Committee of many international meetings/conferences.
